Kelpi Lock Loco Switch
This Kelpi lock is being used for Battery operated Vehicles (Mining and Construction Vehicles)
The need for these kind of key switches arose from the fact that many mining and construction vehicles are fitted with a ON/OFF switch to start the vehicle. Micosa Identified the problem and re-engineered the suspect ON/OFF switch by fitting a key lock mechanism onto it.
The vehicles are now SAFE and only the "LEGAL AUTHORISED" driver will be able to drive the vehicle.
During operation there is ZERO WEAR on the Kelpi Lock Mechanism as well as the key because of its UNIQUE WEAR PROOF DESIGN.
Master keying, keyed alike or Key to differ is possible and OPTIONAL.
